  • Help keep the project moving safely and efficiently by addressing day-to-day construction detail and stakeholder liaison

About Us
Abergeldie is a contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation, the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

About the Opportunity
Abergeldie is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team to support delivery of work in regional New South Wales. This is a site-based role with FIFO arrangements available from Sydney, including flights and accommodation.

You’ll work closely with experienced project leaders and site crews, contributing to planning, coordination and day to day project delivery. If you enjoy being involved in the detail of construction, working with subcontractors, and helping keep a project moving safely and efficiently, this role will suit you well.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering 
  • Experience in civil infrastructure within a contractor environment.
  • Strong coordination skills around subcontractors, materials, scheduling and quality.
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset with solid attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with project teams, consultants and local stakeholders.
  • Confidence using construction programs and reporting tools.
