Product Manager

Remote (Canada)

HCC's client, a fast-scaling Canadian B2C technology company and the country's leading real estate app, is hiring a Product Manager to help shape intelligent, user-focused digital products that help millions of Canadians find the right home. About the Role

As a Product Manager, you'll be the voice of the user, obsessively understanding their needs through research, interviews, insights, and deep thinking—then transforming those findings into clear product problems and high-impact solutions. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to ensure the right features are discovered, validated, built, and shipped.

You will help shape the future of the mobile app, working with leaders who prioritize autonomy, ownership, and real impact. What You'll Do

  • Conduct user interviews and synthesize insights to deeply understand how users think and what they need.

  • Perform market research to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.

  • Client and document problems worth solving, prioritizing based on user impact and business value.

  • Break down large, ambiguous problems into clear, solvable chunks for the team.

  • Create well-defined solutions to high-impact problems, collaborating with Design and Engineering.

  • Clear roadblocks and drive momentum to ensure value gets delivered.

  • Take ownership over outcomes — not just outputs — measuring success and iterating accordingly.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping impactful features.

  • Problem-first mindset : you start with understanding the problem deeply before jumping to solutions.

  • User obsession: you genuinely care about users and can articulate their needs better than anyone.

  • Tenacity and ownership : you do what it takes to get solutions out the door and hold yourself accountable to results.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills — able to align cross-functional teams and articulate the "why " clearly.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and best practices is a must.

  • Self-motivated and organized, comfortable driving impact with a high degree of autonomy.

Nice to Have

  • Development or technical background.

  • UX or Design background.

  • Machine Learning experience or understanding.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • Experience in consumer-facing digital products or marketplaces.
