What you’ll do:

  • 🛡 Strengthen and continuously improve Kognity’s security posture, reducing risk and increasing resilience across systems and data

  • ⚙️ Automate and streamline security processes like access controls, credential rotations, and compliance checks to make it easy to “do it right”

  • 🔒 Ensure our platform and organization remain secure and compliant with GDPR, SOC2, and related standards

  • 📊 Develop and drive the security strategy and roadmap, balancing risk, compliance, and business opportunity

  • 🤝 Collaborate across teams including Engineering, Legal, InfoSec, and Commercial to support secure development, sales enablement, and incident management

  • 💡 Lead and mentor security champions, fostering security awareness and best practices across the organization

What we’re looking for:

  • 💻 Strong coding skills, able to implement code and configuration changes, build and maintain security tooling, and address vulnerabilities effectively

  • 🧠 Deep analytical and security mindset, with experience identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating vulnerabilities

  • 🤝 A collaborative enabler who communicates complex risks in business terms and inspires others to prioritize security

  • 🔍 A fast learner with curiosity to understand new technologies, threats, and effective mitigation strategies

  • 🧩 Experience with cloud environments, automation, and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and GDPR

  • 🤖 A curiosity for AI and a drive to experiment with new tools to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution
