Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in microservices development using Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and API development.
  • Proficiency with Java 8+, relational databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle), SQL, and data integration concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containerization with Docker, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, TDD/BDD, security).
  • Strong knowledge of APIs (OData, GraphQL, API Gateways, OAuth, Swagger), JWT-based authorization, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices in Java using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Build and consume APIs (OData, GraphQL); implement API gateways, OAuth, Swagger, and JWT-based authorization.
  • Collaborate on data modeling, SQL queries, and data governance across systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, TDD/BDD practices, and containerize applications for cloud deployment (AWS/GCP) on Docker and Kubernetes.

 Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in micro-services development.

• Significant development experience in a Java focused on data, APIs & Microservices.
• Strong understanding of data and data integration concepts (SQL, data governance, enterprise patterns).
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to propose new solutions.
• Experience with development best practices (TDD/BDD, CI/CD and other DevSecOps concepts).
• APIs and related concepts (OData, GraphQL, API Gateways, OAuth, Swagger etc.).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good experience in handling authorization using JWT or any other similar methodology.
• Good exposure in containerizing applications with Docker.
• Hands on with cloud environments. AWS with EKS preferred
