Senior Fullstack Developer (Composable Commerce)

We are searching for talented Senior Fullstack Developers to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with clients in a consultative role, providing technical leadership and hands-on expertise. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining functional websites, web services and ecommerce solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience working on projects from start to finish and be familiar with working on specifications and resolving technical issues.

We expect you to be a committed, proactive and assertive communicator with great problem-solving skills. You can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In your everyday work, you enjoy collaborating with designers, product managers and fellow developers to deliver outstanding results. Herc started working in our Philippines entity a few years ago and this November we were thrilled to welcome him to our Helsinki office! :)

Your daily activities include:

• Software development of our new projects, i.e. designing, developing and implementing applications based on specifications

• Consulting our clients in how to use composable commerce to the advantage of their business

• Maintaining existing applications

• Writing functionality tests and debug code

• Troubleshooting of issues across multiple environments and platforms

• Mentoring and training other developers and reviewing their code
  
  

Core skills & experience we’re looking for:

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Substantial experience of hands-on software development, with solid experience in databases and building responsive web applications

• Strong command of the full software development life cycle – from specs and design through implementation, testing and documentation

• Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and tools (Next.js / React / Node), SaaS platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Proven track record in designing, developing and deploying scalable web applications

• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively (you thrive in a fast-moving environment!)

• Experience advising clients on strategic technical solutions that address business challenges
  
  

What would make you stand out:

• Experience with our tech stack: commercetools, Bluestone PIM, Akeneo, Contentful, Sanity, Vercel or Omnium

• Experience with advanced ecommerce-specific integrations (e.g., payment gateways, ERP systems, marketing automation)

• Familiarity with modern security practices

• Passion for improving and shaping company-wide standards, best practices and development policies

• Interest or skills in areas such as project management, UX design, quality assurance and sales

• Experience in leading or managing teams or projects
