Overview: MissionWired is looking for a production manager to join our direct mail team to manage the full cycle of our print production process  – supporting clients in everything from electing Democrats to combating climate change throughout the world. In this role, you will work alongside our client services team to ensure each part of the print production process is meticulously planned and seamlessly executed in service of our clients. 

Successful candidates will be responsible for:
  • Partnering with the client services team to coordinate the project scope, project schedule, and project costs;
  • Overseeing the competitive bid and negotiation process with supplier partners;
  • Overseeing all aspects of the print production process from inception to delivery;
  • Serving as a project manager to monitor the status of all work in progress to ensure that deadlines are met; and
  • Completing the expenditure process with timely, accurate estimated costs through final expenditures.

  • Must-have qualifications:
  • 4 + years of direct mail fundraising production experience or a related role;
  • Knowledge of postal regulations and mailing best practices;
  • Experience independently managing multiple complex projects;
  • Strong excel experience;
  • Skilled in project management, planning, analysis, and problem-solving;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Basic knowledge of statistics;
  • Demonstrated relationship building through client interfacing;
  • Familiar with basic direct marketing principles and direct mail production;
  • Strong interest in working with nonprofits and political organizations;
  • A proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, track progress of each job, and manage a budget; and
  • Willingness to take initiative and use good judgment to resolve issues.
  • The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $82,500 per year, commensurate with experience.

    This position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining.

    Location
    We are currently working remotely with no return to office date. Applicants may reside in the following states: AZ, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NC, NJ, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA. Due to FL legislation, MissionWired is required to participate in e-verify.
