QA Engineer at HW.Tech

Our client is a US-based company specializing in advanced solutions for health plans. Their platform helps both new and established Medicare and Medicaid programs scale efficiently, saving time and resources by improving staff productivity and streamlining processes. The company offers flexible options, available as either SaaS (Software as a Service) or BPaaS (Business Process as a Service), making it easier for health plans to optimize operations, enhance member experiences, and stay compliant with industry regulations.

We are currently seeking skilled QA Engineer to join the project. You will collaborate with other engineers to create innovative technical solutions and efficiently solve problems using industry best practices

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing software test plans and documenting their results.
• Identifying and facilitating issue resolution with functional and technical groups.
• Writing SQL queries.
• Assisting with the creation of user documentation.
• Working as part of a team.

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in the healthcare/medicare (Health Insurance/Payer) industry.
• Functional and regression testing experience and knowledge of software testing tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience- Ability to interact directly with programming staff as well as clients.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Relational database knowledge with experience writing SQL queries.
• Proficient in English and Spanish at a conversational level.

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of UNIX.
• Ability to comprehend programming languages, and EDI experience is a plus.
