PA / Admin

Join a High-End Gourmet Meat Import Business Supporting the Senior Leadership Team

Remote (South Africa) | UK Working Hours (10 am-7 pm) | £1000/month (approx. R23 000)

Our client is a long-standing gourmet meat wholesaler, supplying premium cuts to Michelin-star chefs and passionate home cooks alike. With a rich history dating back to 1963, they've evolved into a dynamic company with a thriving B2C online service and a rapidly expanding B2B wholesale operation. The Role: PA / Admin

This is a hybrid position supporting the Managing Director directly while also contributing to wider business operations. You will manage executive-level calendar and travel logistics, while also assisting with general administration, including container import scheduling and customer support. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational capabilities who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PA or Admin roles
  • Manage and maintain the MD's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Provide administrative support across departments, including import scheduling
  • Handle general customer queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure accurate documentation and task tracking across projects
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Take initiative in identifying and solving problems
  • Assist with ad hoc operational tasks to support smooth business delivery

About You

  • 2+ years of proven experience in Personal Assistant and Administrative roles
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, dependable, and eager to take ownership
  • Comfortable working remotely to UK business hours (10am7pm SA time)
  • Experience in logistics or food import/export industries is advantageous
  • Familiarity with customer service tools and administrative software is a plus
