Tender Engineer Civil Works

The largest lock in the world in Antwerp, an innovative quay in Panama, the sustainable and architecturally sophisticated Résidence Palace in Brussels or the integral A11 freeway in Bruges; all are Jan De Nul Group projects. As Tender Engineer within our Civil Department your main duties and responsibilities are: 

• Drawing up one or more (complex) tender file(s).
• Analyzing and assessing the various risks and opportunities of a project in order to determine the most efficient execution method.
• Requesting and analyzing price offers from suppliers and subcontractors in order to be able to deliver an estimate and price structure based on the selected production method and equipment. 

What do you need?

You have a degree in Construction Engineering or Bachelor of Architecture. Both young graduates and people with experience are eligible. You have a very good knowledge of Dutch. 

As a Tender Engineer you work accurately and systematically, but creativity and drive are also very important. You work in our head office in Aalst.
