Lead fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution workshops with SCM stakeholders (Inventory, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales, Advanced Warehouse, Transportation, Master Planning, Product Information Management).
Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and process flows that translate business requirements into D365 SCM solutions.
Configure D365 SCM modules, features, and workflows following Microsoft best practices.
Partner with technical teams to design extensions where needed while prioritizing standard capabilities.
Define and validate data migration (items, vendors, customers, on-hand inventory).
Support or specify integrations with external systems via standard frameworks/APIs; align with Power BI for operational reporting.
Own SIT/UAT scenarios, traceability, and defect triage; prepare end-user training and release notes.
Champion change management and adoption with SCM and cross-functional teams.
Plan and execute cutover (mock runs, reconciliations), lead go-live and provide hyper care and stabilization.
Drive continuous improvement: periodic release assessments, backlog refinement, and optimization.
Maintain solution documentation, SOPs, and control matrices; align with audit & compliance requirements.
Mentor junior consultants; support pre-sales (demos, estimates, SoW inputs) as needed.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering,Information Systems, Logistics or related discipline.
Senior: Experience: 7+ years implementing Microsoft D365 SCM, including multiple full life-cycle projects.
Junior: 3-5 years hands-on experience implementing/supporting D365 SCM.
Supply Chain Expertise: Strong grounding in procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and planning.
Product Expertise: Deep configuration knowledge across Inventory, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales, Advanced WMS, Transportation, Master Planning; familiarity with Power BI for reporting.
Delivery: Proven track record in fit-gap, FDDs, testing/UAT, data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
Collaboration: Excellent communication with SCM leadership and technical teams (integrations, extensions).
Supply chain process leadership, analytical problem-solving, and structured documentation.
Stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
Pragmatic decision-making: standard-first design, scalable solutions, and risk management.
Coaching mindset: ability to mentor analysts/consultants and elevate team delivery.
