Principal Engineer / Architect SaaS Scale up - Remote Job Ireland or Europe
A growing SaaS client in growth & scale up mode needs to hire a mission critical Principal Engineer. This client is experiencing massive demand for their SaaS solution globally. The operation is strongly funded, with expert leadership. To keep up with client demand, they need to urgently expand their engineering team. The first new hire will be the Principal Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Engineer who has additional Architect experience. You will be the technical anchor for a high-aptitude engineering team. You as Principal Engineer will develop ideas, drive innovation, lead new greenfield projects, take architectural decisions, make calls on the stack, and mentor engineers.
This is fast paced, and will suit someone who enjoys a scale up environment. You must be technically flexible and able to go with change. You’ll experience variety for sure, and will enjoy multiple projects.
You can work remotely from anywhere in Ireland or within the European Union.
Requirements
Principal Engineer Architect Skills & Experience:
Strong experience at Principal Engineer level.
Highly skilled as a Backend Engineer.
Architect ability.
You must have experience in JVM languages, Kotlin, Scala, Java.
AWS Cloud experience.
Strong Microservices.
Able to work & thrive in a fast paced scale up environment.
