Principal Engineer GenAI - Forward Deployed Client Facing
A GenAI systems integrator who builds B2B AI solutions for Corporate & Enterprise level companies require a highly skilled Principal Engineer. This client solves business problems for leading companies by building customised solutions using what is genuinely the very latest in Generative AI technology.
The client is expanding due to a successful & growing pipeline of business across Europe and therefore need to hire an outstanding Principal Engineer to play a key role within the organisation.
As a Principal Engineer you must have outstanding engineering experience. You must have proven fairly recent GenAI experience & projects. You must have proven client experience working on major projects consulting with clients at senior management and C level. Your experience as a Principal Engineer will include you having run 3 or 4 major client projects concurrently. Overall, this position combines hands-on technical delivery with direct client engagement at enterprise level.
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
Lead conversations with senior stakeholders such as C level, technical leadership & senior architects to understand business needs.
Design and deliver AI/ML solutions, including large language models LLMs.
Develop evaluation methods to ensure performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Play a mission critical role as a senior technical anchor.
Key requirements:
Proven track record building and deploying AI/ML systems in production. GenAI projects.
Expertise in large language models LLMs and applied AI techniques.
Strong background in software engineering and system architecture.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven enterprise client facing experience a senior management or C Level.
Excellence in software engineering & proven track record at Principal Engineer level.
You must have engineered GenAI projects in recent years.
You have a total passion for AI & a curiosity to keep learning & progressing with the latest AI as it emerges.

There is an excellent remuneration package on offer with basic salary Euro 160,000 - Euro 200,000 with benefits.
