Job Title: Sr. Performance Tester

Location: Remote

Duration: Full-Time

Requirement: Must have active IRS MBI clearance with IRS laptop and badge

Job Description: We are looking for a Sr. Performance Tester to support IRS projects. The role involves designing and executing performance, load, and stress testing for large-scale IRS applications. The tester will analyze results, identify system bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations to ensure scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and run performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios.

•Monitor system metrics and analyze application performance under load.

•Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts on performance requirements.

•Document results and provide actionable recommendations.

•Ensure compliance with IRS standards and federal guidelines.

Required Skills:

•5+ years of performance testing experience.

•Hands-on expertise with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad.

•Strong SQL skills for backend validation and test data prep.

•Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk).

•Excellent communication and analytical skills.
