Software Quality Testing Engineer | Full time | Remote | Egypt

We are looking for a software QA engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing testing procedures for our software solutions to ensure they meet international standards of quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with automated and manual testing methodologies, and a passion for enhancing product quality in a fast-paced global market.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  

• Lead and mentor junior members of the QA team, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.
  

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on design and implementation from a QA perspective.
  

• Automate test cases where applicable to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  

• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
  

• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements.
  

• Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus
  

• Certification (ISTQB) Foundation level 
  

•  ITI Graduates are preferred
  

• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
  

• 3-4 years of experience in automation testing for web, API, and mobile applications using frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Postman  is preferred.
  

• Experience in Test Automation tools like Cypress, playwright is preferred
  

• Familiar with working on Linux/Unix OS is a preferred
  

• knowledge about CI/CD is a plus
  

• Experience with Git/ Agile/Scrum
