Job description

Overview 

Motion RC is a Veteran owned, global e-commerce company that sells toy and hobby model products including radio-controlled (RC) airplanes, helicopters, boats, cars, tanks, trucks, and thousands of related accessories. We are seeking an experienced RC enthusiast to join our world-class Customer Service team. This is a remote work-from-home (WFH) position; enjoy the convenience and cost-savings of working remotely. Position Responsibilities

  • Help customers troubleshoot and solve technical issues
  • Give advice and product recommendations to beginners and advanced hobbyists alike
  • Process customer orders over the telephone
  • Engage customers via our on-line chat system
  • Respond to customer emails and support tickets
  • Test and review RC models and accessories
  • Participate in RC forum discussions
  • Train to become an expert in all major product categories offered by Motion RC
  • Promote and support a positive and motivating culture within our Customer Service team


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of RC airplane and/or helicopter experience including building, upgrading and flying
  • Minimum 3 years of RC boat, car, tank, and/or truck experience including building, upgrading and driving
  • Previous customer service experience is required
  • Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues over phone, email, and chat and deliver effective solutions
  • Customer first mentality
  • Strong personal computer skills including using both PC and web-based applications
  • Must be able to correspond with customers in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner
  • Ability to document each customer interaction
  • Average or better typing speed and accuracy
  • Calm and patient, able to interact professionally with customers even under pressure

Salary: $30,000-$40,000 depending on experience
