Careerscout is recruiting for for Lead Mechanical Engineer to be involved in complex industrial and engineering projects

Company information and role

Our client is a well-establshed engineering company operating on the Dutch market. Driven by innovation, they combine technical expertise and multidisciplinary knowledge across a variety of sectors. Currently they are growing their division responsible for design and engineering of complex projects within food&beverage, chemical and power sectors. You will be working on complex projects related to these sectors and running teams across all engineers aspects. 

You role will be focused on leadership and especially managing projects that require a high level of engineering detail and execution. 


Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience working for engineering companies (at least 10 years of experience)
  • Running team of engineers and support office staff
  • Experience in projects related to electrical, mechanical, automation, mechatronics is mandatory
  • Experience in creating independent design of complex technical installations and constructions
  • Independent execution of engineering activities related to concept and basic engineering
  • Creates design and tender documents
  • Coordinating the engineering part in multidisciplinary projects
  • Counselling and provides solution directions, which are elaborated by engineers and designers
  • Managing multiple complex engineering projects
