Job description

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician for Raleigh, NC. This position will be responsible for the installation and service of various doors, equipment, and control devices.

This position may also service or perform preventative maintenance on automatic doors and related equipment.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $30/hr. - $40/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (eligible for candidates with a current AAADM certification)

What You Will Do

  • Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
  • Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate project and/or service data through diligent and timely use of all documentation and technical data

What We Require

  • Valid current driver’s license
  • 1+ years’ relevant experience in electrical, construction, or automatic door industries
  • Physical requirements, including ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead
