Job Description:
Responsibilities:
· Perform, support the execution of virtualization related tasks, for example:
· Gather required artifacts to create the virtual ECU's
· Define System architecture and perform ECU's configuration, SW implementation
· Add Data access ports and RTE intervention points
· Build VECU and resolve errors/warnings and compile to generate Virtual ECU's
· Add Network database (dbc) and connect VECU's using BUS manager
· Create Virtual ECU platform in VEOS environment and execute VEOS
· Load OSA files in VEOs and create the control desk project
· Develop Test layout and bind to interfaces
· Perform panel testing and validate the interfaces ( I/O, RTE)
· Design test cases scripts and run them on SYNECT or Automation Desk
· Execute test cases and analyze failures.
· Record and report failures
· Version control of artifacts (test framework, Testcases etc.)
· Monitor the virtualization process to ensure needed SWCs are integrated and adherence to planned delivery schedule.
· Support all internal and external audits/assessment in the project regarding preparation and follow up on findings related to industry standards for safety and quality
· Coaching of the project management/team regarding internal processes and SAFe agile
· Learn the virtualization process and workflow and strive to maintain those guidelines
· Continuous review and improvement of processes, procedures, and templates
· Perform internal audits and evaluations, help assure quality of work products and process activities
· Support product development as member of cross functional team
· Participate in validation issue discussion with other teams
· Create and maintain bi-directional traceability of artifacts like testcases and requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Have known the knowledge of classic and adaptive AUTOSAR
- Demonstrated ability to develop AUTOSAR based systems
- Demonstrated competency in dSPACE tools like System desk, Control desk, VEOS, Automation desk and SYNECT
- Demonstrated competency in creating virtual ECU’s
- Demonstrated competency in connecting virtual ECU’s using BUS manager
- Trained in both VEOS and Control Desk test layout creation.
- Working experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment
- Experience with statistical analysis of data to establish pass/fail criteria
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- A minimum of 3 years within the area of Virtual or Hardware validation using dSPACE tools like System desk, Control desk, VEOS, Automation desk and SYNECT
- Understanding of virtual validation process
