Medior Devops Engineer (REF3966G)

The application of Digital construction support (Digitale Baubegleitung) will become the central platform for digitization of construction sites for fiber-rollout in Germany. You will be part of a central team that develops and operates the system. 
 

What you will do as a Senior Devops Engineer:

• Design, build, and run cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform / Ansible (IaC).
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitOps with ArgoCD).
• Implement and fine-tune monitoring & logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Work in a cross-functional, agile (SAFe) team, closely collaborating with developers and architects.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.

The skills that are required:

• Several years of DevOps / Cloud Engineer experience.
• Strong hands-on skills with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Terraform / Ansible.
• CI/CD expertise (GitLab or similar).
• Confident English communication (spoken & written).
• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Monitoring & logging expertise (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Database admin knowledge (Postgres, MySQL).
• Knowledge of GeoServer or GIS platforms.
