Project Based - Node.js | Sr. Back-End Engineer

Job brief

Hi there! We are looking for one or more Developers with experience in Node to  work inside a team to create new API integration for a new Payment Gateway to be implemented into our client's product. 

Our client is a positioned Start-Up of Latin America, backed by different great VCs globally.

Engagement: 40 hours per week for about 6 to 8 weeks. 

Reporting time-zone: GMT -3

Responsibilities

• Experience working with Microservices
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture
• Knowledge of TDD
• Develop new APIs, capabilities and re-architect parts of an existing system.
• Join and take part in test-driven, iterative development, prototyping, and reviews with a team of developers.
• Implement scalable and robust services.
  
• Develop and run unit and performance tests to ensure scalability and reliability.
  
• Review and debug code.
• Develops documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code to explain and show solutions.
• Determines and designs system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.

Requirements

• + 5 years of experience working with Node.js
• Experience working with Microservices
  
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture
• Knowledge of TDD
• Experience working with Integrations for Payment Gateways is a Plus
• Able to effectively and quickly adopt new technology
• Good communication skills
