My client is a highly-regarded global blockchain company with well-established offerings in the crypto-currency and sports fan tokens markets. Due to their success and consequent growth, they are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager. The role is to lead the team developing, implementing, and managing both internal and external software applications and infrastructure. The requirement is for someone who already has DevOps team management experience, to ensure the team (which is multi-site) is moving in the same direction towards clearly-defined corporate goals.
The role is very much of a managerial nature, rather than architectural. This can be discussed further at initial interview.
Apart from previous experience as DevOps Manager, other experience required for the role includes AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting (Bash/Python), outstanding communication skills in English, Terraform (or similar), and previous exposure to blockchain/crypto is highly advantageous.
The position is based from my client's office in Madrid. However it can be performed remotely from anywhere within the EU, although this may entail engagement on a consultancy basis rather than permanent employed.
