Job description

Job Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States (Onsite/Remote)

Works on projects and performs GIS data capture work.
Digitize source documents from hardcopy or digital sources to create GIS data in defined spatial data models.
Read and interpret metes and bounds descriptions in source data to capture features using coordinate geometry (COGO).
Populate attributes required in defined spatial data models.
Perform basic level quality control on data captured by reviewing geometry and attributes from source.
Qualified applicant must have working experience with the latest versions of Esris ArcGIS software.
Georeferences scanned historical documents and/or images.
