Position: Front-End Engineer

Work Authorization: All Work Authorizations

Location: Remote

Contract: 12-24 months

We are looking for an experienced Front-End engineer to partner and build a Marketplace web application where users will learn about our Machine Learning as a Service platform. This Marketplace web application will be the one-stop shop UI to discover the various ML Libraries and canned ML Workflows available to the Enterprise.

Rates are experience based.

What You'll Do

• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
• Partner closely with Product and Design colleagues to understand the UI/Design requirements
• Translate UI/Design assets into workable code that can be tested/deployed
• Drive decision making on architecture and design to ensure best practices
• Ensure high quality with testing following Software Engineering best practices, documentation and deployments

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in front-end development
• At least 1 year of experience with AWS including S3, IAM, and RDS services
• Proficient in modern front-end technologies with strong JavaScript, CSS and HTML skills, familiarity with TypeScript
• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework or library such as React, Angular etc.
• Experience engineering and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of a version control system (Github is preferred)
• Ability to translate design assets into working code mirroring the design provided

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of working in an Agile environment and tracking software progress with JIRA
• 2+ years of experience engineering with Python
• 2+ years experience with AWS including ECS, Fargate, S3, IAM, Security Groups, RDS, etc.
• Experience using Docker to build microservices
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
