Job description

Job Title: Database Developer with PL/SQL
Location: Westlake, TX - Hybrid Onsite 2-3 days/ Weekly
Duration: Long Term Contract

Must Have: Database Developer (PL/SQL) with some Java.

Job Description:

Need minimum 08+ years of experience Database Developer with PL/SQL some Java.

What were looking for...

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

- Minimum three years of experience working as a Software Developer.

- Strong knowledge of Databases like MySQL and Oracle.

- Experience writing Stored Procedures.

- Good knowledge of Java

- Experience working with Spring Boot frameworks.

- Strong working experience with the Linux environment .

- Good understanding of Shell Scripting language.

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Strong knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, Spring Boot, Linux.

Good to have the following:

- Working knowledge of Memsql

- Experience with Distributed Systems.

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

JOB DUTIES:

Candidate will be working on a Networks Systems product called xLPT. This software is used for monitoring/reporting the network element health. It is used extensively by System Performance, Planning and multiple teams in Verizon for making the Verizon Network best in the country. Candidate will be involved with the development of database stored procedures, loader code, etc. Day to day work will involve writing new functionality and bug fixing of the backend code.
