Job Description: Corporate Tax Manager

Location: Hybrid | Atlanta, GA (minimum 2 days onsite)
Pay: $112,000 $145,000 / year
Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our corporate tax practice in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing client engagements across corporate income tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting. As a Manager, you will supervise staff, deliver high-quality tax services, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple client engagements from planning through completion, managing budgets and timelines.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns; provide performance evaluations.
• Review corporate income tax returns and recommend tax-saving strategies.
• Conduct primary review of ASC 740 tax provision projects.
• Research and advise on federal, state, and local tax issues.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships as the primary day-to-day contact.
• Collaborate with internal specialists, including national office resources.
• Respond to IRS and state inquiries.
• Stay current with tax laws and participate in professional development.

Must Haves / Requirements Summary:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• CPA or JD/active law license required.
• 4-7 years of progressive corporate tax experience (compliance and consulting).
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and ASC 740.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and ONESOURCE Tax Provision preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with state/local and international taxation.
• Exposure to transfer pricing.
