The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key player in enabling our client's next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least 4 years' experience in a public practice environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value
• Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Help provide exceptional service to clients

About You

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
• Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to providing exceptional service to clients
• Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
