Job description

Position: Power BI Expert
Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: CET

Tasks required:


  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various departments.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for accurate analysis.

  • Create and implement data models within Power BI to streamline reporting processes.

  • Analyze and interpret data trends, offering actionable insights.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in Power BI and data sources.

  • Automate regular reporting tasks and maintain documentation on processes.

  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security in all reports.

  • Provide training and support to internal users on Power BI usage and best practices.

  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned




Requirements:

  • Must have 3-4 years experience as a Power BI expert or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past work.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development.

  • Knowledge of additional BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Google Data Studio.

  • Understanding of business processes in finance, sales, or operations.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data engineering principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and database design.

  • Experience with connecting Power BI to various data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, SharePoint).

  • Excellent communication skills for explaining data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines independently.

  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom).

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset

  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

  • Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
