Fully remote work reporting to the client based in Hong Kong.
Job Description
To provide statistics on system performance & system health check reports.
To oversee, including upgrade/migration of all existing systems as needed.
To ensure secure, reliable and stable operation of the systems & domain controller.
To ensure accurate system change management, reflecting current and historical system parameters and configuration setting includes system/security patches and fixes.
To oversee backup and recovery strategy for all Windows-based systems.
To oversee and manage proper storage allocation and management of overall storage.
Work closely with application, network, telephony, and desktop team for daily maintenance and support.
To notify the head of IT on potential problems associated with the system's health.
To participate in DR exercise.
System/infrastructure related documentation.
Ensure security procedures and audit requirements are adhered to at all times.
Set up new business email accounts and access to other internal systems.
Any other System Admin related duties as required by the company.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing and reading) in English and Mandarin.
Proficiency in Cantonese would be an added advantage.
Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously in a fast paced environment.
Ability to empathise with, engage and build close trusting relationships with prospective users and partners across the globe.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advantageous Skills:
Knowledge/ Experience with PCI DSS certification is advantageous.
Knowledge/ Experience in Nginx, Tomcat, IIS, SQL Server, ELK Stack, Docker is advantageous.
Knowledge/ Experience in DevOps such as CI/CD is advantageous.
Knowledge/ Experience with any programming language, preferably Java, JavaScript, Python and C# is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
Preferably a Degree/Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or a degree in STEM
At least 1 year of experience in administering databases, network design and cloud infrastructure.
Certification or experience with any public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) is highly desirable.
Passionate fresh graduates that have completed relevant university modules are encouraged to apply.
