Manual QA Specialist

Job Description:

The Manual QA Specialist will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing manual tests across various software products and platforms. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products are error-free, user-friendly, and meet all specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and software solutions.
• Identify, document, and report defects or issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or others.
• Conduct regression testing and exploratory testing to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to prioritize bug fixes and ensure high-quality standards.
• Ensure test coverage across all features, documenting results and suggesting improvements.
• Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on quality concerns.
• Assist with writing and maintaining test cases for manual testing processes.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of QA processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance testing.
• Experience with various types of testing such as functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with SQL for database testing.
• Exposure to performance or load testing.
