Job description

On behalf of our client, The Headhunter is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fill the remote position of

Junior Software Developer.

Minimum requirements:

Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming;
Practical experience of software development using JAVA;
Understanding of modern JavaScript;
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React;
Experience using REST API;
Understanding of Web Services and Microservices;
Practical Experience with SQL Database;
Understanding of versioning control tools (GIT, SVN);
Understanding of JDBC;
Willingness to learn new technologies;
Good experience with UNIX system and Bash;
Good knowledge of the English language;
Degree in software engineering or computer science.

Preferred requirements

Speaking Italian;
Practical experience of software development using TDD;
Experience with Databases (MySQL and Postgres are preferred);
Experience using REST API in a production environment;
Understanding of security and performance considerations;
Understanding of architectural and design patterns.
