The Role: Senior Delivery Consultant
This role is ideal for a commercially-minded recruiter or senior resourcer ready to own delivery from end to end. You will lead search execution across retained mandates, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and client-facing progress reporting. Operating as a trusted advisor to clients, your work will directly contribute to successful placements in high-impact roles, particularly in life sciences and technical markets. You'll also benefit from a standout commission model, earning on every shortlist and placement you contribute to.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years' experience in recruitment, with strong candidate delivery and client management exposure
- Manage the full retained search lifecycle: from research and market mapping to candidate submission and placement
- Conduct in-depth client due diligence and kickoff preparations (job analysis, long-list planning, etc.)
- Source, screen, and assess candidates for technical, cultural, and commercial alignment
- Build and maintain structured candidate reports and branded CVs for client submissions
- Lead regular client progress calls and provide detailed written updates
- Use tools like LinkedIn, Otter, Ezekia, and CRM platforms to track, document, and deliver searches efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to drive quality, equity, and delivery excellence
- Provide a premium experience to both clients and candidates through proactive, detail-focused engagement
About You
- 3-5+ years of recruitment experience (internal or agency); 360 backgrounds welcome
- Experience in life sciences/pharma or other specialist/niche sectors preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK recruitment markets and candidate expectations
- Proven delivery track record with measurable KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, shortlist conversions)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, neutral accent preferred for UK client engagement
- Detail-obsessed, proactive, and emotionally mature thrives in a non-micromanaged, collaborative culture
- Able to work UK hours (Monday to Friday) from a remote setup with strong internet connectivity
- Comfortable using tech tools (Otter, Ezekia, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRMs, Google Suite) to streamline delivery
