General Ledger Accountant- Cebu Area (remote)

Overview

Isos Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled GL Accountant with the qualifications and expertise of a Senior GL Accountant. This role is full-time and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We are looking for a candidate that would be remote based near Cebu, Philippines. This employee would work normal Philippines daylight hours with the exception of attending month-end close and occasional meetings during US daylight hours.  

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Accounting Worksheet for each Client Statement of Work (SOW).

• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.

• Review and process payroll journal entries.

• Perform month-end accruals and monitor the month-end close checklist.
  Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts.

• Document and maintain accounting procedures and process workflows.

• Support external audits by preparing and organizing PBC (Prepared By Client) lists.

• Manage sales tax reconciliation, including administration of Avalara and oversight of Nexus studies.
