What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct telephone interventions with clients
Provide support and coaching services in at least two of the following areas: parenting support, couple relationships, eldercare support, retirement preparation, grief and loss, stress and burnout, and career guidance
What We’re Looking For
Master's degree in psychology, education, counseling, social work or equivalent
Three to five years of experience in adult and/or mental health intervention
Valid registration with the relevant governing body
Expertise in solution-focused brief counseling is an asset
Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management and EFAP is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills
Comfortable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Interest in writing resource letters for clients
English language skills are required as this role supports, communicates and/or collaborates with both French and English-clients and/or colleagues nationally.
