Neara is a high-growth technology company, backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital and private equity investors, including EQT and Partners Group.
We use machine learning models to build massive, detailed, interactive 3D models of electricity grids, totalling over ten million poles across four continents. By running detailed structural simulations on these digital twins, we can:
Predict how natural disasters and extreme weather will affect the grid,
Identify their physical and mechanical weaknesses,
Design and construct more efficient ways to operate power systems,
Calculate optimal grid investment and upgrade strategies to accelerate the energy transition globally.
Some of the world’s largest utilities depend on Neara to answer their most pressing investment, disaster management, and strategic questions across risk, safety, resiliency, and more. Our software stands apart by uniquely mixing engineering-grade detail with network-wide scale. Our ambition is to redefine the future of critical infrastructure intelligence. We need smart, creative, driven people to help us achieve it.
You will be part of a brand new team being formed in India to support our delivery functions, collaborating closely with our team in Europe and existing offshore BPO teams in India. You will also work closely with our entire delivery team and interact with our Australia and US departments (product, sales and development teams).
As an Implementation Specialist, once you become an expert on the Neara platform, you will get heavily involved in key projects that will drive actionable insights for our clients. Configuring projects and ensuring the integration of our system for utility/geospatial clients
Build reports and dashboards for effective data analytics and tracking, and ensure Neara’s system is adapted to the client’s requirements.
Conceiving efficient workflows for delivery projects with a focus on automation, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets.
Identifying and prioritising improvements that would enhance the project’s speed by partnering with engineering and product teams.
Detecting inaccuracies in the digital twin and reconfiguring the automodelling and dependencies to GIS, LiDAR or other non-spatial databases available to enhance reliability in the related reports.
Analysing client requests or issues (specific to delivery/presales projects) and identifying new innovative opportunities for that implementation project.
Providing mentorship and training to Implementation Specialists and System Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill refinement.
You will need to have:
A degree qualification
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience in GIS/CAD geoprocessing and/or LiDAR
Experience in FME is highly regarded!
Proven coding experience in any language, with demonstrated ability to:
