Enterprise Architect – (OT/IT) – Dublin Hybrid

I’m delighted to be partnering with a Global organization in their search for an experienced ‘Enterprise Architect OT/IT’ who will support in delivering leading strategy and architecture services to a wide portfolio of corporate clients.

This is a Permanent role which will be Hybrid in nature with a mix of working on-site with key clients, work from home and in my clients Dublin HQ.

You’ll get to work across the smart grid domain to design and deliver transformation programs related to operational technology (ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS).

What you’ll get up to week-to-week:

• You’ll own the design, development and deployment of business solutions including benefit and cost analysis, process design, use case definition, business and functional requirements, and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Developing and deploying architectures to support IT/OT integration across ERP (with focus on SAP/S4 Hana), MES, Historian and SCADA.

What you’ll be getting involved with –

• Build out a wider understanding amongst my clients internal team and to their external clients on key concepts, terminologies (e.g. throughput), frameworks (e.g. OSI) and architectures (e.g. mesh, linear) associated with the Internet of Things (IoT).
• Provide Thought-Leadership to key clients when it comes to the protection of ‘Critical Infrastructure’ ensuring minimum Business / Operational downtime due to Security breaches etc..

Your background may look something like this:

• Experienced when it comes to Cyber considerations particularly within the IT/OT environment (ranging from edge devices through to Information Technology).
• Management, oversight, and support in the implementation of scalable IT/OT strategies with the objective of enabling data ingestion through edge to Cloud.
• You’ll be an excellent Influencer who excels in the role of ‘Trusted Client Advisor’.
• Being a collaborative person by nature you’ll lead discussions and seek to persuade both internal and external teams and stakeholders on key decisions.
• It would be cool if you did have a working knowledge of Agile working methodologies (Scrum and Kanban etc).
• Have a decent understanding of key concepts of machine to machine (M2M) communication and respective communication protocols such as Profibus, CAN, IP Protocols, etc.
