Freelance Linux Embedded Engineer (IoT project - 6 weeks from August 18)

We’re currently looking for a freelance Linux Embedded Engineer to join a specific IoT project starting immediately – September 1st, for a fixed duration of 6 weeks.

This is a one-time engagement (not a long-term opportunity), ideal for an experienced and independent engineer available full-time in the short term and interested in contributing to a focused, impactful project.

You’ll be working as the sole Firmware Engineer on the project, taking full ownership of the embedded side. You’ll be in direct contact with the US-based client, so we’re looking for someone who’s not only an expert in their field, but also communicative, proactive, and able to drive the topic forward independently. Very good spoken and written English is a must.

You’ll be joining a small, agile team to work on firmware and software development for a new connected device. The work is fully remote, with flexible hours, and we are open only to B2B/freelance cooperation.

About the project

You’ll be working on an IoT device, collaborating with a hardware team to bring up a new platform, adapt the embedded Linux stack (based on Yocto/Buildroot), and ensure device readiness for a demo in early October.

• 💰 Rate: 150-250 PLN net / hour (depending on experience)
