Job Title: TIBCO Integration Engineer
Location: Remote (India) or Work from Office – Bengaluru / Kolkata
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Company:
Join the offshore engineering team of a North American leader in home and commercial services, specializing in HVAC, water heating, and energy solutions. The company is undergoing a major digital transformation, and TIBCO integrations form the backbone of the infrastructure—connecting critical systems from inventory to invoicing, CRM to billing, customer portals to technician scheduling, and more.

You will collaborate directly with the North American architecture and engineering team, including leaders on business-critical integration workstreams.

Role Overview:
We're seeking a skilled TIBCO Integration Engineer with proven expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise integration workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of integration—from design to deployment—and a strong understanding of integration security, error handling, and API design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks (5.x/6.x), EMS, and Administrator

  • Build scalable and reliable RESTful APIs and services following robust error handling and exception strategies

  • Configure secure integration flows leveraging SSL/TLS, OAuth, and TIBCO security policies

  • Work closely with North American stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design resilient, production-ready solutions

  • Maintain and monitor integration performance and uptime across environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues and data flow bottlenecks

  • Document integration architecture, data mapping, and process flows accurately for long-term maintenance

  • Collaborate across functional teams (e.g., QA, CRM, Billing, DevOps) to support end-to-end delivery

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in TIBCO-based enterprise integration projects

  • Proficiency with TIBCO Business Studio, TIBCO Designer, EMS, and Administrator

  • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API design, XML/XSLT, JSON, and Web Services

  • Deep understanding of messaging protocols (JMS, queues, pub-sub)

  • Demonstrated experience working on production-grade TIBCO integrations—including design, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support

  • Experience across the entire software development lifecycle in an integration context

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to clearly articulate technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Solid documentation habits to support long-term system sustainability

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with TIBCO BusinessEvents, ActiveSpaces, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

  • Familiarity with field service, utility, or energy platforms

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and working with distributed teams

Work Schedule:
India hours with partial overlap to North American time zones for team collaboration and standups

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
