A Flex Market Manager is a program leader within the Service Model and Innovation Department (SMID), responsible for leading the team that enables markets to achieve quality and savings targets. The nature of this support flexes based on the evolving needs of each market. In this role, the Flex Market Manager partners closely with the Director of Centralized Services to set and implement goals, ensuring alignment and engagement across teams to drive operational excellence and deliver impactful results. Additionally, the Flex Market Manager supports the ongoing development and effectiveness of the Flex program in alignment with Aledade’s AOP and Performance Excellence Objectives.
Primary Duties:
Strategy and Performance Operations:
Assist the Director of Centralized Services within program strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment with Aledade’s goals and objectives.
Serve as interim Market Manager as needed, providing continuity of leadership and operational excellence within local markets.
Ensure timely and complete implementation of all new program requirements, maintaining strict adherence to Aledade priorities.
Managing and Leadership:
Lead and manage assigned staff; assist in new staff training and onboarding to ensure team readiness and effectiveness.
Set goals for, and review KPIs with, each member of the Flex team; support the professional development and performance of team members.
Cascade company strategy autonomously and professionally, aligning team strengths to overall goals and objectives.
Utilize proactive coaching and staffing models, and identify or address areas of opportunity for direct reports; communicate needs and provide resources in a timely manner.
Serves as a SME on the Flex Program, company Performance Excellence goals, and Aledade resources throughout their work with HQ departments and Markets.
Aledade Support:
Provide ongoing thought leadership and constructive feedback to Aledade related to growth, practice satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance Aledade’s success, performance, and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited college or university in healthcare, health technology or information systems-related programs. Significant and relevant work experience in lieu of educational requirements may be accepted
Minimum 6-8+ years of experience with relevant competencies including practice management, project management, account management, analytical problem solving, and strategic insight using healthcare analytical skills.
Minimum 3-5 years of direct management experience, including proven leadership of a team and hands-on responsibility for the professional growth and development of direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to perform project management and account management best practices including project planning, schedule management (activity and resource definition), scope management, quality management, communication management, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Must be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills using Excel and willingness to learn additional software applications. Skilled with using data to drive planning and evaluation of success.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
