We are looking for Software Architects on a contractual basis.
- Work days: 5 days a week, SUN to THURS
- Work Hours: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (1 hr lunch break)
Primary responsibilities:
• Provide Solution architecture for given business problems
• Define and create conceptual and system architecture design document and discuss different pros and cons of any particular approach with the Architecture council
• Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices
• Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model
• Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups
• Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
• Research, evaluate, and develop POC’s as required
• Help development teams in implementations
• Groom the next levels in technology areas
• Technology/code reviews
• Quickly learn new areas and come up with POC’s
• Working experience in agile methodology
• Help the team with effort estimations and planning
Required qualifications:
• 7+ years of full-stack application development experience in C#, .net, or Java 8 or above using Spring Boot, Restful Web Services / APIs, HTTP, and front-end technologies like ReactJS, Angular, etc.
• 7+ years of overall experience in a technology-focused role
• Hands-on experience in building micro-services
- Balance objectives of performance, reliability, de-coupling, consistency, maintainability, extensibility, and configurability in solutions
• SQL skills and knowledge of Unix
• Understanding of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, or equivalent
• Understanding of containerization using Docker / Kubernetes
• Technical expertise in delivering Cloud technologies (Azure / AWS)
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in enterprise architectural disciplines such as data, software, infrastructure, and business
• Experience in Azure cloud and services
• Experience in Azure configurations & implementation
• Experience / Knowledge of messaging services such as Kafka or equivalent
