We are looking for Software Engineer, Full Stack on a permanent basis.
- Work days: 5 days a week, SUN to THURS
- Work Hours: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (1 hr lunch break)
Primary responsibilities:
- Build Inkling web applications using React, Redux, Flow, NodeJS and AWS Lambdas.
- Work on project-based teams with backend engineers that are building features with technologies like Node.js, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Work with product managers, designers, and other teams to understand the features that our customers need.
- Work closely with design using tools like Figma.
- Provide meaningful feedback in code reviews to maintain a healthy code base.
- Participate in testing parties finding issues with fresh code and address them in a timely manner.
- Quickly learn new areas and come up with POC’s
- Working experience in agile methodology
- Help the team with effort estimations and planning
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building web applications using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Deep understanding of React including Hooks and Context.
- Fluency with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Ability to create backend code using NodeJS.
- Professional use of JavaScript build tools and test frameworks. We use Babel, Flow and Jest.
- Our team values working well with other people. You must have excellent communication skills and
the ability to coordinate well with our product, design and other engineering teams. - Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including Lambdas and Step Functions is a plus.
- Experience with Python also a plus.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in enterprise architectural disciplines such as data, software, infrastructure, and business.
- Experience in AWS cloud and services.
