Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. We want someone who is comfortable asking “why?” The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with multiple coding languages. They are a team player possessing good analytical as well as technical skills. They are able to communicate and understand the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.
Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements
Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions for our clients and customer base.
Work closely with project managers, other developers, systems architects, sales and marketing professionals
Integrate software components and third-party programs
Create clear technical specifications for reference and reporting
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability: refine and rewrite as necessary
Recommend and execute improvements
Do code quality checks and code reviews regularly to ensure safe and efficient code
Verify and deploy programs and systems. Strong ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptions
Strong ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics
Train and mentor freshers and junior software engineers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
A Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
4+ years’ software development experience
A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures
An in-depth understanding of the Internet, Cloud Computing & Services, and REST APIs.
Experience with Java programming language
Must have experience with Spring / Hibernate Frameworks.
Experience working with Linux/Unix and shell scripts
A meticulous and organized approach to work
A thorough, detail-oriented work style
Have logical, analytical, creative approach to problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills
Have good time management and documentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
