Software Developer (Entry Level) (Remote)

Job_Summary:

Astor & Sanders Corporation transforms IT applications, systems, and data for U.S. federal agencies, and they are seeking a Junior Developer. The role involves writing scalable code, providing Agile development, and maintaining enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Writing scalable code using Python programming language for internal application

• Provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for enterprise systems

• Testing and debugging applications

• Develop, update, and enhance the software components of the currently implemented pilot system and any additional modernization development activities

• Responsible for development of RESTful web services that host data to production systems

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Developer using Python

• Experience with MySQL

• Experience working with REST APIs

• Ability to communicate and work well with others

-Preferred:

• Experience using Django framework
