About Radiant Security

We’re a Bay Area Cyber AI startup (with support for working remotely). We’ve raised funding from top tier investors. Our vision is simple: enable all security teams, to perform security operations with the efficiency and effectiveness needed to prevent breaches . We’re a small team of researchers and engineers with a deep focus in cyber and AI. Our product automates the triage for any security alert leveraging deep research, big data and dozens of AI Agents.

The Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of our AI-powered applications for security automation. This is a high-impact leadership role that spans engineering, AI research, and product — with a strong focus on building intelligent, scalable systems to transform how security teams operate.

You’ll be a technical and strategic partner to product and research teams, helping drive initiatives across the company and mentoring engineers to deliver high-performance, real-time systems.

What problems you will be working on?

  • Accuracy: We aim to correctly triage any alert while providing full transparency on each step taken and the reasoning behind it.
  • Cost and scale: We need to bring the power of LLMs and big-data integrations to customers on any budget.
  • Breadth: We need to run on any customer environment and automate any security use case.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a team of engineers building AI-driven applications for security alert triage, incident investigation, and response automation
  • Collaborate closely with AI researchers, security experts, and product managers to bring complex ideas to life
  • Roll up your sleeves when needed — participate in design reviews, unblock technical challenges, and help implement critical systems
  • Drive engineering excellence and team growth while maintaining a hands-on mindset
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical vision and scalability
  • Be a key partner in shaping our product strategy and technical roadmap

Things we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years of engineering leadership experience in high-growth or startup environments
  • Strong technical foundation as an individual contributor (IC), ideally with prior work in distributed systems, ML pipelines, or real-time data processing
  • Experience collaborating closely with AI/ML teams or working on AI products
  • Ability to manage and grow a high-performing team while staying close to the code when needed
  • Passion for building complex systems that drive meaningful impact
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort with hybrid work — this role requires being in our Pleasanton office 3x/week
