Key Skills: InstallShield, packaging, Admin Studio, Visual Studio, Install Script, VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting & Wise Scripting

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Strong experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development tools for desktop applications using InstallShield/WiX/equivalent MSI technology, Entity Framework, SOLID principles, LINQ, Threading
• Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle methodology.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server/Git/equivalent source control
• Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge and advanced expertise in industry and/or vendor technologies
• Ability to solicit, gather, document, and analyze system specification and requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others in team environment.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with team members, including global stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills, Qualifications (Technical Competency):
• Proficient in toolsets such as InstallShield, packaging, Admin Studio, Visual Studio
• Rich Experience in Install Script, VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting & Wise Scripting.
• Well versed in application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8/10 compatible applications.
• Expertise with VMware Workstation/ Oracle Virtual Box to work on the Virtual Builds.
• Knowledge of Creating applications using various Packaging Tools like InstallShield/WIX.
• Sound Knowledge on Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.
• Troubleshooting using various tools like Orca, FileMon/RegMon, PictureTaker
• Knowledge on creation of Merge modules, Packaging Customization. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and client server applications.
• Good Understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server), Registry, File systems,
• Services packs, Patches, installation and uninstall mechanisms.
• Expertise in Application Compatibility Testing and Remediation.
• Strong debugging skills for complex installer related issues
• Experience in the requirements, design, coding, unit/integration test lifecycle phases
• Develop and execute unit test scripts.
• Conduct and document code and unit test peer review
