Job description

We are looking for Exterior Lead Design engineer with 3-7 Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore Location.

Key Skills: Plastics, PLM or PDM, New product development

Roles and Responsibilities:

Creating a detailed design of the product, including any necessary drawings or schematics, using computer aided design (CAD) software
Meeting with other engineers to discuss designs and brainstorm possible solutions to problems
Ensuring that all safety standards are met during the design process.
Working with suppliers to ensure that all materials used in the design meet industry standards
Identifying potential design flaws and providing solutions to improve the design.
Conducting research on new technologies that may impact the design of the product
Working with programmers to develop computer models to test designs before they are built.
Maintaining records of all design decisions made during the process.
Supervising a team of designers and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time

Required Skills, Qualifications (Technical Competency):

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial engineering
3-7 years experience in a design engineering role
Proven experience leading a team of engineers
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
Working knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
