Job description

We are looking for Exterior Lead Design engineer with 3-7 Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore Location.
Key Skills: Plastics, PLM or PDM, New product development
This is an immediate requirement. Please apply if you can join within 20 days or close to 20 days.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Creating a detailed design of the product, including any necessary drawings or schematics, using computer aided design (CAD) software
  • Meeting with other engineers to discuss designs and brainstorm possible solutions to problems
  • Ensuring that all safety standards are met during the design process.
  • Working with suppliers to ensure that all materials used in the design meet industry standards
  • Identifying potential design flaws and providing solutions to improve the design.
  • Conducting research on new technologies that may impact the design of the product
  • Working with programmers to develop computer models to test designs before they are built.
  • Maintaining records of all design decisions made during the process.
  • Supervising a team of designers and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time

Required Skills, Qualifications (Technical Competency):
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial engineering
  • 3-7 years experience in a design engineering role
  • Proven experience leading a team of engineers
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
