About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advertising Operations Manager to join our Advertising Operations team. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have at least one full campaign cycle of hands-on experience in self-service ad platforms, with a demonstrated ability to translate in-platform decisions into meaningful outcomes that align with customer goals.

In this role you will:

  • Own the launch, pacing, and optimization of campaigns for your book of CSM customers
  • Place and manage video campaigns across 3+ DSPs, YouTube, and Meta
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales teams to translate customer persuasion and mobilization goals into coherent digital programs
  • Partner with vendors including DSPs, SSPs, audience providers, and verification companies to stay abreast of the latest innovations and bring them to our customers
  • Work late hours and occasionally on weekends to support high-profile political campaigns during election season
  • Mentor less experienced team members to help them learn the ins and outs of effective political media buying
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on-keyboard experience within the political vertical in at least one DSP
  • The ability to operate independently and take ownership of issues when they arise
  • A proven ability to analyze data and extract insights from platform reporting suites, Excel spreadsheets, and dashboards. Bonus points if you are proficient in SQL
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and juggle multiple complex projects
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • A positive attitude and a desire to lead
