About the job

The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance function across Tether Data. This role ensures that product releases meet defined quality standards through the development and execution of test strategies, frameworks, and automation. The QA Lead works closely with the teams, DevOps and Product to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The QA Lead serves as the quality champion within Tether Data and plays a key role in shaping the overall testing culture and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of QA strategies across projects within Tether Data.

  • Define and implement test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align testing with development and release processes.

  • Evaluate feature proposals, ensuring that they are well defined and verifiable.

  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs, defects, and test coverage.

  • Drive automation efforts and optimize CICD pipelines for test integration.

  • Advocate for qualityfirst principles throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Raise nogo warnings for version releases that do not meet acceptable quality criteria.

  • Provide mentorship to the QA team.

  • Contribute to the implementation and management of testing tools.
