Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Health Insurance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of health insurance operations within the organization. The role involves supervising insurance plans, coordinating with providers, managing claims, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting clients or employees with their health insurance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance policies, healthcare regulations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer health insurance programs for employees or clients.

  • Coordinate with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.

  • Oversee claims processing, approvals, and reimbursements in compliance with policies.

  • Evaluate, compare, and recommend suitable health insurance plans.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to healthcare and insurance.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees or clients regarding benefits, coverage, and claim procedures.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve insurance services and cost efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of all insurance activities.

  • Train and supervise staff involved in insurance administration.

  • Stay updated on healthcare reforms, insurance laws, and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Insurance, or a related field (Masters preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in health insurance management, benefits administration, or healthcare finance.

  • Strong knowledge of health insurance policies, claims management, and compliance regulations.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Leadership and team management experience.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with group health insurance policies.

  • Knowledge of international health insurance plans (for global organizations).

  • Ability to design cost-effective benefits packages.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
