The Group Air Specialized Travel Consultant at Ovation Travel is to deliver exceptional travel service experience for our Corporate Business Customers. By working together as a high performing team, our Travel Counselors provide exceptional traveler care, first call resolution and the highest quality of customer service to Ovation Group Travel clients. This is a high touch service environment, where you will have true accountability for the service relationship and customer experience, by providing creative and timely travel solutions, using available tools and technology as needed, while maximizing supplier revenue. The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Group Air Travel Counsellors located virtually from home.

 *Qualified candidates should be available to work Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts , 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an International corporate travel consultant with good problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent recent SABRE skills
  • Strong service focus and customer orientation for high end, VIP travelers
  • Ability to understand and communicate client travel policy
  • Ability to execute data quality control requirements put forth by Ovation Travel Group
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, demanding environment, multi-accounts
  • Internet savvy
  • Complying with all legal standard requirements, which include mandatory training, compliance, and sanctions.
  • Manage the end-to-end booking process through the ticketing and order fulfillment, either over the telephone, via messaging or via email or back-office systems and servicing platforms.
  • Express enthusiasm and energy within the organization and always act according to company ethics, values, and Compliance guidelines.
  • In the spirit of OTG’s Group Travel philosophy of Going the Extra Mile, the travel consultant will set the example of meeting the needs of the traveler by providing a positive interaction as well as insuring that the travelers reservations and systems documentation are accurately completed per company standards.
  • Provide guidance and support as part of a travel consultant team, who, as the first points of contact with our travelers / arrangers, will set the initial tone for the traveler’s experience and are required to make this interaction as positive as possible.
  • Must be knowledgeable of international fares, exchanges, refunds, scripts, and ticketing.
  • Manage and support your leaders and our client's needs around group air reporting. This includes, air matrices, arrival/departure manifest (air/rail/hotel), post trip reconciliation, flight concentration, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Resolving customer issues quickly and independently
  • Teamwork and openness to feedback
  • Able to work in a very busy group travel environment. Must be able to multitask

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$46,200.00 - $85,800.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
