Product Sales Executive, Tekla PowerFab

What You Will Do

In this role, you will be responsible for growing new steel fabrication software accounts as well as developing business with our current customers.

The Tekla PowerFab Product Sales Executive will collaborate with our Account Executives to discover customer needs, uncover pain points, and demonstrate how Tekla PowerFab can address their critical business needs.  You will help the customer or prospect end-to-end through their buying process while working collaboratively with our Account Sales Executives and Sales Engineers.  

• Collaborate with our Account Sales Executives in finding, researching, developing, and closing leads/prospects for Tekla PowerFab software. 
• Communicating with prospective customers by uncovering their needs and identifying sales opportunities as it relates to Tekla PowerFab.
• Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product marketing teams.
• Building opportunity and pipeline for Tekla PowerFab through collaboration with the Account Sales Executives.
• Collaborate and assist in research, development, and maintenance of long and short-range sales and territory plans.
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Specialization or understanding of workflows within a structural steel fabrication operation.
• Experience or knowledge of Tekla PowerFab (or Tekla EPM, Fabsuite) software is preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a Team environment with a naturally collaborative mindset.
• 3+ years of proven sales experience is advantageous. Software sales preferred.
• Excellent negotiating and closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources are desirable.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite products.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 20% of the time.

Target Compensation:

Salary + Commission = $150-180k OTE
